Career XRcade Framework: Student-Driven Collaboration Processes to Develop Learning Environments for Immersive Career Exploration presents Career XRcade (CXR), a toolkit that lets multidisciplinary college teams co-create VR “Career Lands” filled with mini-games, puzzles, and narrative NPCs that translate real job roles into playful exhibits. Early case studies—Cybersecurity Land and Esports Land—each showcase five career paths and are built with templated road-mapping, industry-mentor input, and curriculum-aligned learning goals. Planned user studies will measure gains in career identity, self-efficacy, and usability across students, teachers, and developers. This poster was presented at the IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces in Orlando, highlighting CXR as a scalable, student-led model for immersive career exploration.
