Imagined Arcade: XR Game Toolkit for Co-imagining Career Futures with Students, Subject Experts, and AI- Presented at the HCII Conference

This work outlines a workshop system that lets multidisciplinary teams co-design mixed-reality “minigames” about future careers. The toolkit blends four decks of ideation cards with a web-based AI co-creation platform and ready-made VR templates (Whack-a-Mole, Tower Defense, Memory Matching, etc.). Students collaborate with industry mentors and large language models to turn career insights into playable experiences, lowering cost and technical barriers while aligning gameplay with learning outcomes. This short paper was presented at the HCI International 2025 Conference.
